Mezcal Negroni
A twist on Negroni
Prep time:
The usual Negroni with mezcal instead of gin. The bitterness of the Campari and the smoke of the agave pull in the same direction, and the drink gains body.
Ingredients
- 30 ml joven mezcal
- 30 ml Campari
- 30 ml sweet vermouth
- Large ice cubes
- Orange twist
Preparation
- Put the three liquids in the mixing glass with ice.
- Stir for about thirty seconds: the aim is to chill and dilute a little, not to aerate.
- Strain over a rocks glass with one large ice cube.
- Express the orange twist over the top and drop it in.
