Division Bell
Prep time:
Mezcal, Aperol, maraschino and lime. Phil Ward built it in 2009 on the bones of the Last Word, and in passing talked half of New York into ordering mezcal.
Ingredients
- 45 ml joven mezcal
- 22.5 ml Aperol
- 15 ml maraschino liqueur
- 22.5 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
- Grapefruit twist
Preparation
- Chill the coupe.
- Shake the mezcal, Aperol, maraschino and lime with plenty of ice for twelve seconds.
- Fine-strain into the chilled glass.
- Express the grapefruit twist over the top so the oils land on the drink, then rest it on the rim.
