Whisky & Tonic
The misunderstood cousin of the Gin & Tonic. Built properly it is long, dry and surprisingly refreshing; built badly it is a glass of tonic that tastes of wood.

The art of the perfect cocktail is not in the most expensive bottle or the trendiest shaker. It is in measuring, in chilling properly, and in understanding why what you are making works at all. That is where Twist & Tonic starts.
Every recipe comes with measures in millilitres, the right glassware, the garnish and the one specific trick that separates a correct drink from a memorable one. You will not read «a splash» or «to taste» here: those two phrases have ruined more Margaritas than cheap tequila ever did.
And if you want to go beyond following instructions, the academy takes the techniques apart —the shake, dilution, homemade syrups— and the blog tells you where the classics you are pouring actually came from. Knowing a drink's history will not improve it, but it makes serving it far more fun.
