Maximilian Affair
Prep time:
Mezcal, St-Germain, Punt e Mes and lemon. Misty Kalkofen named it after the emperor France installed in Mexico, and the drink tells that story without saying a word.
Ingredients
- 22.5 ml joven mezcal
- 22.5 ml elderflower liqueur (St-Germain)
- 15 ml Punt e Mes
- 15 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
Preparation
- Chill the coupe.
- Shake all four ingredients with plenty of ice for twelve seconds.
- Fine-strain, so no ice shards get through.
- Serve straight up, with no garnish.
