Charro Negro
Prep time:
Tequila with cola and plenty of lime. In Mexico people order it without thinking; elsewhere it is barely known, which is one of the few injustices with an easy fix.
Ingredients
- 50 ml blanco tequila
- 120 ml well-chilled cola
- Half a lime
- Ice cubes
- Salt for the rim (optional)
Preparation
- For a salted rim, run a lime wedge around it and press the glass into a plate of salt.
- Fill the glass to the top with ice.
- Squeeze a full half lime over the ice and drop the spent shell in.
- Add the tequila and stir.
- Top with cola poured down the side of the glass.
